We welcome digital photographs of a Salem County event you attended, your favorite
place or a new place you discovered in Salem County. You
must read and accept the following terms in order to submit a photo to the
Salem County Tourism photo gallery. Submission of a photo to the Salem County
Tourism photo gallery signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. To submit a photo, you must
be at least 18 years of age. All photos
must be taken in Salem County. The photograph's subject must be relevant to
Salem County in one of the following categories:
- Nature
- Events
- Architecture
- Art
- History
- Recreation
Photos
can only be submitted via email. Only photos that are submitted in a JPG format
will be accepted.Photos
must be appropriate for posting on a public government Web site. The Salem County Department of Public Information &
Tourism reserves the right to review all photo submissions to determine
their appropriateness and eligibility. Obscene,
provocative, or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Salem
County retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. Maximum
file size for upload is 2 MB at one time.
All images should be 72 dpi.
Vertical photos can be a maximum of 500 pixels high. Horizontal photos can be a maximum of 500
pixels wide.
Do not add borders, frames,
watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices.
Do not add or replace elements in an image. Do not use artistic filters.
Photographer and Copyright
Photos must be submitted by
the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than
yourself. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted.
Your submission of the photo is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright
holder of the photo. Ownership and Use Rights Photographers
retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo,
photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on the Salem
County Tourism Web site without any fee or other form of compensation. Photographs will be credited to the
photographer named in the submission form.
Submitted photos may be selected for display or use in other Salem
County Tourism publicity materials. By
submitting your photograph(s), you agree to release and hold harmless Salem
County and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and
promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of
actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your submission, including
infringement of intellectual property rights. Salem County and its employees,
officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume
no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of
actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this
submission.
You
represent that you have been given authority by each and any individual depicted in a
photograph to bind such individual to these terms.I accept these terms and conditions and
